Communication Geography

 

An emerging research field

 

During the last five years I have been involved in developing the interdisciplinary field of Communication Geography. The overarching question of CG is a dialectical one: How does communication produce space, and how does space produce communication? The research terrain cuts across disciplines like media studies, urban studies, tourism studies and architecture. It also cuts across paradigmatic boundaries.
